LTH staff CICS LTD was established on 8th of Nov 2001 with Registration number 9567 to provide succor for members who spread across all profession in the hospital.
Workers decided to pool their meager salaries and scarce resources together to meet their immediate-cum-future needs and to earn a better standard of living after the discovery of the fact that co-operative society is one of the proven secret that wealthy people are using to achieve success in whatever goal they desire to pursue and a life time opportunity for using this platform to associate with like minds to gain financial freedom.
Alhaji (Pharm) Gbadamosi R. O. A., Miss Aderoju B. J., and Mr.Adeyemo M. A., and a host of other members who initiated the idea of co-operation in the hospital believed that every worker should, at least, enjoy the basic needs of life which include shelter, food, cars, profession progression and any other personal project which can only be achieved through the formation of a co-operative society.
LTH staff CICS today is regarded as the prototype for modern co-operative in and out of the hospital and a means to an end for members.
The society adopted Osun State Bye-law on Co-operative Investment and Credit Society to guide its operations. It is run democratically: Executive Committee Members vacate office after one term in office but may be re-elected in the next annual general meeting if the Society general members so wish (by democraticaly voting).
